What do you love most about working on the Carrie Lingo Team?

I love being a part of the incredible team. Everyone has so much real estate and local/community knowledge and different facets at which they truly excel. Learning from each member every single day has been the best part. Every single team member brings so much to the table.

What do you love most about working in the real estate industry in general?

I love the genuine connection with the client. I am passionate about working with people and giving the best service to them. I also love being closer and more in touch with the community.

What did you do before working in real estate, and how did this experience prepare you for your current career?

Before real estate, I was a buyer for a retail store. My role was to buy, negotiate, price, and conduct business analysis. It was a great foundation before switching to this career. It prepped me in ways I did not even know I needed!

What do you consider the best thing about Southern Delaware? What would you tell someone who is considering moving here?

There is something for everyone here. I love how much there is to do in each town, between the hopping summer season, festivals in the fall, Christmas parades, community events, the beautiful wetlands, and so much more.

Tell us a random fun fact about yourself.

I started working at The Ice Cream Store in Rehoboth Beach when I was 14. My grandmother always made us work as soon as we were able to. I loved scooping ice cream and working for Chip Hearn!

What is the most interesting place you have visited, and why?

Italy: I was able to visit so many places filled with rich history, beautiful architecture, and the greatest food I have ever eaten!

If you could travel back in time, where would you go, and why?

The 70s: it's my favorite time period of music. I was able to see AC/DC, Earth Wind & Fire, and Paul McCartney in concert. I am sure, however, that it would have been even greater back in the 70s!

What is your favorite food, and why?

Spaghetti: my family always makes homemade pasta and meatballs! But honestly, I also have to say ice cream for dessertcan't skip out on sweets!
