How would you describe your time with the Carrie Lingo Team? Have you had any particularly notable experiences?

My time with the Carrie Lingo Team has been a whirlwind, and I mean that in the best way possible! Each day is a new experience, even after 12+ years in the real estate business. We pride ourselves on staying on the cutting edge of the industry, and Carrie is always looking for the latest and greatest options to benefit our team as well as our clients. Our team gatherings are always quite notable!

How did you know the Carrie Lingo Team was the right fit for you?

Our team is comprised of an exceptionally hard-working and dedicated group of individuals, all incredibly talented and caring. Each of us loves what we do; it shows in our work and is reflected in our client testimonials. You’ll not find another group like the Carrie Lingo Team!

How do you think the Carrie Lingo Team differs from other real estate teams?

Working with the Carrie Lingo Team is a joy and a privilege. As one of the top-producing teams in the state, we take great pride in ensuring that our clients are taken care of in every aspect of the transaction from start to finish. We’re all young professionals who genuinely care about our clients. More often than not, my clients end up becoming friends after the close of their transaction.

When did you know you wanted to work in the real estate industry? Is the Carrie Lingo Team your first real estate experience, or have you previously worked in the industry?

When I was a little kid, I’d build homes and neighborhoods out of Legos. It drove my mother crazy having all of these little villages spread out around our formal living room, but it was such a wonderful creative outlet for me. In high school, I loved going to open houses, touring new listings, and sketching traditional New Orleans architecture. I suppose it’s been in my blood since I was a child. I started my real estate career in 2008 while living in Annapolis and Baltimore, and I now focus solely on the Delaware beach communities.

Where did you go to college?

The University of New Orleans.

What are your favorite activities when outside the office?

Playing golf, sailing/boating, and spending time on the beach.

If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why would you go there?

The British Virgin Islands. I’ve taken several trips to the BVIs, each time chartering a sailboat with friends to island-hop. My ideal vacation: waking up each morning on a sailboat in paradise, with no agenda other than enjoying the sun, sail, and azure blue waters!

Who is your personal hero or role model?

John F. Kennedy.

What is your favorite quote?

I really don't know why it is that all of us are so committed to the sea, except I think it's because, in addition to the fact that the sea changes, and the light changes, and ships change, it's because we all came from the sea. And it is an interesting biological fact that all of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the seawhether it is to sail or to watch itwe are going back from whence we came.” John F. Kennedy
