Riess Livaudais was born and raised in New Orleans, with family roots in the area going back to the mid-1700s. After visiting Rehoboth Beach for many years, he and his husband, Brooks, purchased their full-time residence on the Rehoboth Beach Yacht & Country Club golf course in 2017. He enjoys home renovation projects and has undertaken several over the years. He also loves volunteering his time for good causes. In your estimation, what are the best outdoor activities to enjoy in Coastal Delaware?

Our beautiful beaches, the endless bike trails, and boating on the bays and coastal waterways.

Where is your favorite local spot to visit on a hot summer day? On a cold winter day?

Favorite spot on a hot summer day: the RBCC pool overlooking the Rehoboth Bay.

Favorite spot on a cold winter day: perusing through the local antique stores and art galleries.

What makes Coastal Delaware different from the other beach areas along the Mid-Atlantic?

Picture-perfect sunrises over the ocean and inland bay sunsets; being year-round communities, each with a slightly different vibe and appeal; and, of course, our outstanding restaurants!

Given your experience in the field, what are the top factors which attract buyers to our area?

Close proximity to many major metropolitan areas, low property taxes, tax free shopping, the ocean, and a more relaxed way of life.
