Keep reading to learn more about Carrie and Murray!

What have been your experiences managing one of the most successful real estate teams in Delaware? What tools have you utilized to ensure your team’s continued success in the industry?

Communication, commitment, teamwork, having fun, and surrounding ourselves with incredible vendors and service providers in the area!

Tell us a bit about the Lingo family’s legacy in Southern Delaware. How does that legacy impact your approach to real estate?

Carrie: My grandfather and grandmother, Jack and Peggy Lingo, took the risk and opened the first Jack Lingo, REALTOR® office on 1st Street in Rehoboth Beach in 1974. A combination of hard work, dedication to clients, and communication was a recipe for success. Starting a business, they were able to continue with their community involvement and family.

What do you love most about managing the Carrie Lingo Team? What makes the team unique?

We work hard together and LAUGH. We also constantly push each other to make each other better!

What did you do before working in real estate, and how did these experiences prepare you for your current career?

Carrie: Though I am now very retired, I had the privilege to represent the United States on our US Field Hockey Team for 12 years. This is how I met Murray! In prepping for the Olympics in San Diego, our coach had a great idea for us to train with the Navy SEALs—there was Murray!

What do you each consider the best thing about Southern Delaware? What would you tell someone who is considering moving here?

There is something for everyone!

Tell us a random fun fact about yourself!

Carrie: Hmmm...a big hunk of my teeth were knocked out while I competed in South Korea with the US Field Hockey Team.

What is the most interesting place you have visited, and why?

Carrie: I had the privilege of traveling all over the world with the US Field Hockey Team. South Africa was incredible, as were New Zealand, Russia, Europe, and South America. In Italy, I got to eat gelato three times per day! I also love visiting Murray’s home state of South Carolina!

If you could travel back in time, where would you go, and why?

Carrie: Murray and I would live in a hut and live off the land on the Oregon Trail.

What is your favorite food, and why?

Carrie: Chocolateno reason necessary!

Thank you both for the fantastic work you do managing our team and leading us by your wonderful example! We couldn't accomplish all we do without your diligent guidance!
