How long have you been with the Carrie Lingo Team? What has been your most memorable experience on the team so far?
I have been with The Carrie Lingo Team since July 2020. Looking back, I have many memorable experiences, but the first thing that comes to mind is my first day of walking in the office and feeling how welcoming everyone was.
What do you love most about working on the Carrie Lingo Team?
I love how everyone will jump right in to support each other both on a personal and professional level. It's more than being on a team; it's being part of a family.
What do you love most about working in the real estate industry in general?
I love being a closing coordinator, where I can be there to help the team and their clients. I have always been passionate about helping others.
What did you do before working in real estate, and how did this experience prepare you for your current career?
I have been a travel agent for over 40 years. I have found that both are very detail-oriented careers with the similarity of helping people from the beginning to the end—not only enjoyable but also rewarding.
What do you consider the best thing about Southern Delaware? What would you tell someone who is considering moving here?
Living in Delaware, you have the most charming beach towns, plenty of history, outdoor activities, and the added benefit of being in close proximity to major cities without the fast-paced lifestyle.
Tell us a random fun fact about yourself.
My Hakuna Matata motto: "No matter what the circumstance, there is always a way to find a positive!"
What is the most interesting place you have visited, and why?
Rio de Janeiro is one of the most interesting places I visited. It was one of the first holidays I took as a daughter-and-mother holiday, and sharing the experiences together has to be at the top of my list!
If you could travel back in time, where would you go, and why?
I would return to the time when my son was young. I wish I had spent more time traveling together and experiencing the different cultures from around the world.
What is your favorite food, and why?
My favorite foods vary with the season. Currently, any warm comfort food is my choice.
