We are thrilled to highlight Administrative Assistant Amy Billman as our June 2021 Featured Team Member! In this interview, we get to know Amy and learn all about her experiences on the Carrie Lingo Team! Keep reading to learn more about Amy!

How long have you been with the Carrie Lingo Team?

1.5 years.

What has been your most memorable experience on the team so far?

Celebrating Christmas out back of the Lewes office and playing the Christmas Exchange game. Ended up with an autographed, framed picture of “my” Shawn!

What do you love most about working on the Carrie Lingo Team?

The family atmosphere! Everyone is always willing to pitch in and help each other out. I have forged many special relationships already.

What do you love most about working in the real estate industry in general?

As an administrative assistant, I love helping the agents be the best they can be with their clients while taking some of the paperwork and other mundane tasks off their plates.

What did you do before working in real estate, and how did this experience prepare you for your current career?

I have an Associate's Degree in Accounting. That career helped develop my organizational skills and attention to detail.

What do you consider the best thing about Southern Delaware?

How nice everyone is to each other. It's very refreshing and just a different atmosphere. People wave and say, "Hello"—and mean it!

What would you tell someone who is considering moving here?

DO IT! This was the best decision for my family. A better quality of life.

Tell us a random fun fact about yourself.

I played collegiate tennis at Essex Community College in Baltimore, MD.

What is the most interesting place you have visited, and why?

I don’t know if it’s the most interesting, but I am going to say Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. A sense of calm and excitement came over us as we came over the Nassau Bridge. Kind of a coming home...and now we live here!

If you could travel back in time, where would you go, and why?

I would go back to 1985, so that I could prepare better to attend a four-year college and get the experience of being on my own and getting a bachelor’s degree in my field.

What is your favorite food, and why?

Pizza, crabs, and dirty hot dogs. I have many fond memories of attending Orioles games and crab feasts, and these foods remind me of those times.

Thank you for the fantastic work you do with our team, Amy! We couldn't accomplish all we do without your diligent help!
